HOW
WE ARE COMPENSATED FOR OUR SERVICES? We think you should know how the professionals associated with REMAX Properties Unlimited are compensated for their services. We work for commission fees and are not paid a salary. We are independent contractors and only paid when a transaction is closed and the title has transferred. When we earn a brokerage fee, it is first divided between the real estate companies in the transaction. Then our company's share is divided between our local franchise, REMAX Properties Unlimited and us after the national REMAX royalty fees are deducted. REMAX Properties Unlimited and its professional associates incur expenses and overhead just like any other business or independent contractor. Like all U.S. citizens, we must pay taxes, which include State and Federal income taxes, FICA taxes and any other obligations as self-employed professionals. We also incur marketing, promotion and operating expenses for marketing above and beyond what REMAX Properties Unlimited provides you. We pay salaries to our Office Manager and other Team Members as well. When we are working for you, we are investing our time to help you sell or acquire a property. Time is our greatest commodity. Your loyalty to us is highly regarded. A completed transaction will be mutually beneficial. Your satisfaction as evidenced by referrals of friends and family is the ultimate compliment and sign of the gratitude you might demonstrate.
