Chester
Township
Incorporated in 1799, Chester Township
has historic homes, farms and newer developments. The township is
known for its open space. Several parks are located in this rural
township, including Black River Wildlife Preserve and the Willowwood
Arboretum.

GOVERNING BODY:
Township council. Mayor Benjamin L. Spinelli; Leonard J. Taylor,
president; Joan Fischer; Jeffrey Deisher; William Cogger. Council
meets first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the
municipal building. Township clerk: Lorett Skinner. Municipal offices:

4:30 p.m.
