Plains
Known as the “community of caring,†Morris Plains
is one of the smaller municipalities in the county. Route 202 serves
as the main thoroughfare. The borough is home to the Warner-Lambert
Division of Pfizer.
2002 POPULATION: 5,236.
GOVERNING BODY: Borough council. Mayor Frank
Druetzler; council President Donald L. Underhill; Michael Carlucci;
Suzanne B. McCluskey; Ralph R. Rotando; Stephen S. Welsh; George
Coogan. Meets first and third Thursdays at borough hall, 531 Speedwell
Ave. (Except June, July and August, when they meet the third Thursday
only, and in November there is only one meeting and it is on the
second Thursday of the month.)

Seniors Monday Club meets at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post on
Tabor Road on the second and fourth Mondays (fourth Monday only
in July and August).

BOROUGH SERVICES: Garbage is collected on
Mondays and Thursdays. Recyclables are picked up on the first, third
